HEPA Filtrated Equipment

Asbestos Removal equipment must undergo a test every six months whether they have been used or not and If the machine has been dropped or damaged in any way. The testing of the equipment consists of:

· DOP test (Dispersed Oil Particulate)
· Photometer Airflow test.
· PAT test (Portable appliance testing)

​The equipment is tested to determine if it is operating at the efficiency rating of the HEPA Filter and Airflow of the appliance rating.

The filter efficiency of the equipment must be recorded so it can be clearly labelled on the unit and certification Typically 99.95 %.

• Negative Pressure Units
